Road Recovery Trax program youth and staff journeyed to BB King
Blues Club in NYC to meet JonAnderson, the voice of progressive rock's YES. Mr. Anderson
treated the kids to a private sound check followed by an intimate, face-to-face
MasterTrax
where he discussed topics such as spirituality, enriching the heart and sharing
his life lessons. Road Recovery's MasterTrax is interactive, allowing
participants to ask questions, gaining invaluable insights into career
opportunities and the requirements needed to achieve such career goals.
"Road Recovery is very
necessary, very timely and very true… And, should be shared in schools with
young people all around the world!" - Jon Anderson, YES

Road Recovery Outreach Event at Warwick Valley High School
Road Recovery's house band Type II performed a 'meeting & music' outreach event at Warwick Valley High School in Warwick, NY. The RoadRecovery event reached 200 students in the 9th, 10th and 11th grades (ages: 14 - 17). The event represented Road Recovery's eighth year of providing outreach programs in Warwick, NY, under coordination and support of Principal Richard Linkens who continues to support effective and alternative means to enrich his student body.
"I had no idea what was going on in the Media Center. Their music is awesome; it's really cool they came to perform and speak with us about what they've been through, especially since they're our age. That took a lot of courage."

Road Recovery Delivers Memorabilia to Supporters Who Pledged
Road Recovery delivers more memorabilia items to supporters who Pledged via PledgeMusic during our 15 year anniversary fundraising drive to support our outreach to at-risk teens.
"We were thrilled to have recently lent support to Road Recovery during their 15th Anniversary fundraising drive. Not only did we receive a beautiful lithograph signed by Tony Bennett but we also had the opportunity to learn more about the foundation and the very important work that they do. After meeting with Jack and Gene and later seeing the band Type II perform, we’ve made a commitment to helping Road Recovery in some specific ways in the future".
