Jon Anderson, The Voice of Prog-Rock's YES, Provides MasterTrax + Concert

Road Recovery Trax program youth and staff journeyed to BB King Blues Club in NYC to meet JonAnderson, the voice of progressive rock's YES. Mr. Anderson treated the kids to a private sound check followed by an intimate, face-to-face MasterTrax where he discussed topics such as spirituality, enriching the heart and sharing his life lessons. Road Recovery's MasterTrax is interactive, allowing participants to ask questions, gaining invaluable insights into career opportunities and the requirements needed to achieve such career goals.

Road Recovery Outreach Event at Warwick Valley High School


Road Recovery's house band Type II performed a 'meeting & music' outreach event at Warwick Valley High School in Warwick, NY. The RoadRecovery event reached 200 students in the 9th, 10th and 11th grades (ages: 14 - 17). The event represented Road Recovery's eighth year of providing outreach programs in Warwick, NY, under coordination and support of Principal Richard Linkens who continues to support effective and alternative means to enrich his student body.

New York Festivals Torch Awards Pitch Challenge to Create Awareness Campaign

New York Festivals® (NYF) has been honoring the World's Best Work™ in all media since 1957. NYF's world-class judges review submissions in the most current and relevant categories to award creativity across all media. NYF presents their first-ever New York Festivals Torch Awards on May 1, 2014 - a new competition for teams of young creatives (age 18-25) to create an awareness campaign to promote Road Recovery. Road Recovery's 13th year of GrahamARTS Program at Graham Windham


Road Recovery announces its 13th year of creative workshops programming for Graham Windham at The Graham School in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York starting this spring on March 20, 2014. Graham is the oldest non-sectarian childcare agency in the United States, providing foster care, mental health and early childcare services. Road Recovery’s Graham ARTS RoadTrax Program will provides creative workshops and peer support/adversity meetings on-campus, leading up to a spring performance finale on the campus on June 4, 2014.

Road Recovery Kids at Amnesty Int'l Benefit & recording with Slash

ROAD RECOVERY's YOUNG PEOPLE ATTEND AMNESTY INT'L - BRING HUMAN RIGHTS HOME BENEFIT CONCERT AT BARCLAYS CENTER in BROOKLYN, NY


Road Recovery's young people were invited to attend the benefit concert Bring Human Rights Home presented by Amnesty International at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on February 5, 2014. Our group was treated to inspiring musical performances and speeches by Madonna, Blondie, Lauren Hill, Pussy Riot, Imagine Dragons, The Flaming Lips & many others. Tickets were graciously donated by CBGB Productions who furnished this quote of support:
