Magnetic global tour, founding ‘Papa Het’ James Hetfield
made a point of incorporating pit stops with Road Recovery’s youth into his
touring schedule whenever he passed through New York City. Just before the
frost hit New York’s city streets, Hetfield crossed paths and caught up with
our founder, Gene Bowen during one of his last bicycle rides in support of the
1,500 mile Rock 'N Ride NY! fundraising campaign to celebrate Road Recovery’s
15 year anniversary.
